Amman, Jordan: Amman, Jordan: As part of its active community-based initiatives, driven by its belief in its role in serving the local community, Bank ABC in Jordan provided support to Al Malath Foundation for Palliative Care (Al Malath Hospice) as a contribution in the Foundation’s activities that meet important humanitarian needs, including palliative care for patients in advanced stages of incurable diseases to alleviate their pain, in addition to increasing the Foundation’s ability to continue its various programmes and activities and ensuring the sustainability of its services to patients with chronic and incurable diseases.
Health services support initiatives are on the top of the Bank’s social responsibility priorities. Therefore, the Bank ensures its continuous support of foundation that provide medical and health services in order to enhance their efforts and help achieve their objectives of providing comprehensive health care and best medical services to patients.
In this regard, the General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, Mr. George Farah Sofia, stated that “in order to improve the health care system, all sectors need to work together and join their forces. We, in Bank ABC, believe that it is our duty to support our community and its members, focusing on the health sector as one of our social responsibility priorities.”
